MCROA members gathered for a social at the Olympic Universal Unitarian Fellowship on October 15. It was a beautiful, sunny day to reconnect with neighbors, share an amazing variety of delicious foods, and raise a glass of draft beer (or water) to toast Dorothy Richardson, who turns 90 this month.

Ilse Osier was in the spotlight as she entertained us with songs on her accordion for fifteen minutes. Crit Davis sang along to Edelwiess. Who knew what an amazing singing voice our president has! Char Reeves also provided background music from her playlist.

The venue provided the perfect facility for our gathering. We had a fully stocked kitchen, indoor dining space with tables creatively decorated by MCROA members, and a charming garden patio. We made use of it all!

Thank you to all the members who volunteered their time to make this day so special and to everyone who attended this event.

We’re looking forward to planning another community gathering next year.
