The newly repaired surface of Seaward Drive needs time to harden and cure.
Until July 15, when driving on Seaward Drive:
1. Please drive slowly. 15 MPH is the recommended speed limit.
2. Avoid driving heavy vehicles on it as much as possible.
Avoid driving in a manner that disturbs the road surface:
1. Avoid quick stops and starts.
2. Do not turn your tires when not in motion.
3. Do not spin your tires when taking off.
4. Avoid hard cornering.
If damage is caused, use the side of your foot or the back of a garden rake to move material back into place and pack it in place with your foot.
Brush should be kept trimmed back along the fence lines so traffic doesn’t leave the roadway to avoid it.
